Introducing a performance of her song “STFU!  at Glastonbury she boldly condemned Matt Healy for his offensive comments on racist pornography and made a mockery of her heritage by calling her an “Inuit Spice Girl”

"I wrote this next song because I was sick and tired of microaggressions. So, tonight, this goes out to a white man that watches Ghetto Gaggers and mocks Asian people on a podcast"

A Ghetto Gaggers is a pornography series that is infamous for its misogynistic and racial content. On a podcast, Matt Healy admitted to watching it and joked about receiving sexual pleasure from women being “brutalised”.

During an appearance at The Adam Friedland Show Matty Healy joined Friedland, and his co-host Nick Mullen and the trio indulged in the mockery of Hawaiian and Chinese accents.

Healy talked about having seen the adult website Ghetto Gaggers, which features clips of Black women being humiliated by White men

Healy, who was condemned for reinforcing Asian tropes, eventually addressed the controversy I’m kind of a bit sorry if I’ve offended you. Ice Spice, I’m sorry. It’s not because I’m annoyed that my joking got misconstrued.

The singer is signed by the same record label as Healy’s band Dirty Hit
